Jr NTR Condemns AI-Morphed Chuttamalle Video, Says Legal Action Ahead
Pune, 3rd October 2026: Actor Jr NTR has condemned an AI-morphed video featuring him and actor Janhvi Kapoor from the song ‘Chuttamalle’ and said he will take legal action against those responsible for creating and circulating the content.
The digitally manipulated video has been circulating on social media in recent days. The original song, which features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is from the 2024 film ‘Devara: Part 1’.
Reacting to the video on X on Saturday, Jr NTR called the use of AI to create the content “disgusting, sick and shameless”. He said the technology had been used to disrespect a woman and criticised those involved in creating the manipulated content.
“To the scumbags behind this morphed Chuttamalle video, I will not spare any of you. I will take every possible legal action against those who created it and those who are spreading it,” Jr NTR said in his post.
He also urged people not to watch, share or engage with the video, warning that such misuse of AI could affect anyone.
Jr NTR further called on state governments and the Central government to take stronger action and introduce strict regulations against the misuse of artificial intelligence.
‘Chuttamalle’, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Shilpa Rao, was released as part of ‘Devara: Part 1’. The song was choreographed by Bosco Martis and features Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
The incident comes amid growing concerns about use of AI-generated and manipulated content involving public figures, particularly digitally altered material that can circulate widely on social media without consent.
