Junnar Ambegaon Mango Festival from June 7

Mumbai, June 4: Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation has organized “Junnar Ambegaon Mango Festival – 2019” for those tourists who want to go directly to the farms to eat and buy mangoes. Tourism Minister Jaykumar Rawal informed that on June 7, 8, 9, and June 15 and 16, the Mango Festival will be organized in Junnar and Ambegaon region.

Ratnagiri of Konkan, Devgarh Haupus mangoes are famous not only in the country but in the world. Like Konkan’s mangoes , the mangoes of Junnar, Ambegaon (District Pune) area are very tasty. Due to the pollution-free environment here, the natural cultivation of the Malshej mountain range and the pure water, the taste, shape, colour, form of mangoes are different.

The Mango Festival has been organized by the Tourism Department so that these mangoes reach to the the people who love to eat mangoes.

Junnar Ambegaon Mango Festival is not like any other general mango festival. In this festival farmers do not go to the customer, but customers go directly to the farmers at the farm. How are the mango gardens, how the mangoes that we eat , ripe , how many varieties of mangoes are there, and more information will be received by the customers. These tourists will also enjoy rural food, agricultural tourism. Tourists should enjoy agricultural tourism by participating in this festival; this is what Tourism Minister Shri Rawal has appealed.

This Mango Festival is being organized in the fields of Lenyadri, Girawali of Junnar Taluka and Bhimashankar, Shinoli, Pimpalgaon and Gangapur in Ambegaon area.
