Kangana Ranaut lashes out at farmers for creating a ruckus on Republic Day; said they should be ashamed of themselves
New Delhi, January 26, 2021: As planned, farmers had taken out a tractor rally in protest of agricultural laws on the occasion of Republic Day. In some areas their protests turned violent there was a fierce clash between the farmers and the police.
Actress Kangana Ranaut who is quite vocal on social media has targeted the farmers’ tractor rally fiercely. Kangana shared a post on social media and indicated that the farmers should be ashamed of their behaviour.
Actually, a Twitter user had shared the video in which clashes between farmers and police were visible. Replying to this tweet, Kangana wrote that the people of the country are behaving like illiterates and she said that they should feel shame upon themselves.
Protesting farmers entered the Red Fort, creating ruckus in many areas of Delhi. Hundreds of farmers reached the ramparts and hoisted flags of Nishan Sahib and farmers organizations at the exact spot where the Prime Minister hoists the tricolour on Independence Day every year. However, the policemen removed these flags shortly thereafter. During this time, the protesters standing below kept hooting.
The farmers protesting against the agricultural laws are taking out tractor parades in Delhi-NCR today. There is a lot of uproar in the tractor parade due to farmers changing routes. Protesting farmers have entered the Red Fort in Delhi amid reports of lathi charge and clashes in Delhi-NCR. A large number of farmers have gathered around the Red Fort and are shouting slogans. A large number of policemen tried to stop them but failed.
