Karigar Bazaar Returns to Pune for Diwali 2026 With 250+ Artisan Stalls
Organised by Craft and Artisan Revival LLP, the second edition of Karigar Bazaar will bring together more than 250 artisan-led stalls representing crafts from over 26 states and union territories across India. The event aims to offer Punekars an opportunity to discover the country’s diverse handmade traditions, meet the people behind the crafts and support artisans who continue to preserve India’s rich cultural heritage.
Building on the success of its previous edition, this year’s Diwali special promises a wider and more vibrant showcase of traditional and contemporary handmade products. Visitors can explore an extensive range of textiles and weaves, embroidery, folk and tribal art, jewellery, accessories, home décor, lifestyle products and festive gifting options. With Diwali around the corner, the bazaar will offer an opportunity to discover distinctive handmade products for homes and celebrations while supporting the artisans and communities behind them.
Karigar Bazaar seeks to distinguish itself from conventional exhibitions and flea markets by placing artisans at the centre of the experience. Rather than simply bringing products together under one roof, the event celebrates the skills, stories and cultural traditions behind each creation. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover regional craft traditions and appreciate the workmanship involved in creating handmade products.
The event will also feature live demonstrations of traditional craftsmanship, allowing visitors to witness artisans at work and gain a closer understanding of the techniques that have been passed down through generations. Folk music and other cultural experiences will add to the festive atmosphere, making the bazaar an engaging destination for families, art and craft enthusiasts, and those looking for meaningful Diwali gifts.
Food will be another attraction, with regional culinary offerings complementing the craft and cultural experience. The event will bring together the flavours of different parts of India, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the country’s culinary diversity alongside its handmade heritage.
With its second edition, Karigar Bazaar aims to strengthen Pune’s connection with India’s artisan communities and create a platform where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary audiences. The event invites Punekars to celebrate Diwali through products that carry the skill, creativity and cultural identity of artisans from across the country.
