Khadki: 11 New COVID Cases Reported Today, 20 discharged

Pune, 30 August 2020: With 11 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 1134 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 1134 , a total of 947 people have recovered while 31 have died.

 

According to KCB, there are still 156 active patients undergoing treatment. 50 of them are admitted to Khadki Cantonment Hospital, while others are admitted in different private hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. 46 patients in home isolation.

 

Out of 156 active cases, a total of 50 cases are admitted in Command Hospital, AICTS and Military Hospital-CTC.

 

According to KCB officials, after a positive case is detected, the house/locality is declared as containment zone in civil area. However, the Army takes preventive measures in establishments under its control.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 3,542,733 across the country. Out of this, 2,713,933 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 63,498 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 7,65,302 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
