Khadki: 26 new COVID cases reported today, tally reaches 497

Pune, 22 July 2020: With 26 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 497 in Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 497, a total of 305 people have been cured while 17 have died.

 

According to KCB, there are still 175 active patients undergoing treatment. 61 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. There are 300 people under home quarantine while 1126 have completed the quarantine period.

 

In Maharashtra, 1,87,769 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.72%. As of today, there are 1,36,980 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 55.62% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.72%. Currently, 8,58,121 people are in home quarantine and 44,975 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 16,87,213 laboratory samples, 3,37,607 have been tested positive (20%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,192,915 across the country. Out of this, 7,53,049 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 28,732 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 411,133 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
