Khadki: 31 new COVID cases reported today, 5 discharged

Khadki, 14 Aug, 2020: With 31 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 924 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 924, a total of 641 people have been cured while 28 have died.

 

According to KCB, there are still 255 active patients undergoing treatment. 58 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.  Out of 255 active cases, a total of 130 cases are admitted from army area. There are 286 people under home quarantine while 1916 have completed the quarantine period.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 71503 out of which 55,100 have been cured while 1683 have died. There are still 14720 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 750 critical patients out of which 467 are on ventilator support.

 

Across Maharashtra, 4,01442 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.39%. As of today, there are 1,51,555 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 70.09% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.39%. Currently, 10,32,105  people are in home quarantine and 37,386 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 30,45,085 laboratory samples, 5,72,734 have been tested positive (18.8%) for COVID-19 until today.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,461,190 across the country. Out of this, 1,751,555 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 48,040 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 661,595 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
