Kia Introduces Manual Transmission to Seltos Diesel Range

New Delhi, 19th January 2024: Kia, India’s premier luxury carmaker, unveiled five new variants of the Seltos equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission in the Tech line trims, featuring diesel engine options.

Priced competitively at INR 11,99,900 (Ex-showroom) nationwide, the Seltos now offers a total of 24 variants, providing a comprehensive range of drive options to its discerning customers. Since its launch in July 2023, the New Seltos has achieved remarkable success, with sales reaching 65,000 units to date.

The new Seltos introduces 32 safety features, including 15 robust hi-safety features standard across the range and 17 advanced Level 2 ADAS autonomous features. This mid-SUV boasts a dual-screen panoramic display featuring a 26.04 cm Full Digital Cluster and a 26.03 cm HD Touchscreen Navigation, Dual Zone Fully Automatic Air Conditioner, and R17 43.66 cm Crystal Cut Alloy Wheels. Noteworthy features also include a Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof and an Electric Parking Brake.

Since its initial launch in 2019, the Seltos has seen a staggering 6 Lakh units sold in domestic and international markets. Contributing more than 51% to Kia India’s total domestic dispatches, the Seltos has become one of Kia Corporation’s flagship brands, with 1 out of every 10 Kia cars sold globally being a Seltos. The new Seltos is poised to elevate the mid-SUV segment by redefining and revitalizing it with its best-in-segment features and striking design.
