KMP Aspire F.C’s Rising Stars Shine on National Stage
Pune, 18th August 2025: Pune-based Aspire F.C continues to cement its dominance in women’s football, emerging as a powerhouse in the state and beyond. From contributing nine players to the recent title-winning Pune Senior Women’s team (2025) to seeing four players shortlisted for the FIFA–AIFF Talent Academy in Hyderabad, Telangana, the club’s trajectory speaks volumes of its growing success.
Adding to its impressive run, five players from its junior outfit, KMP Aspire F.C, have secured berths in the Maharashtra Sub Junior Girls’ team set to compete in Jorhat, Assam. The selected players — Nishika Nair (goalkeeper), Jenny Raj (defender), Thea Fernandes, Mishika Arun, and Ovi Bhosale (all midfielders) — will represent the state in the upcoming Sub Junior Girls’ National Football Championship.
The five players were also part of Maharashtra State Youth League U-15 Girls (2025), where they finished runners-up.
Of the six Aspire juniors in contention, Aadhya Agarwal was the lone player to narrowly miss out on selection.
Maharashtra, placed in Tier-I, has been drawn into Group C alongside West Bengal, Odisha, and Haryana. The tournament is scheduled from 20 to 30 August 2025 and promises to be a key testing ground for these young talents.
With its consistent production of state and national-level players, Aspire F.C is steadily building a reputation as a breeding ground for women’s football excellence.
