Kondhwa wall collapse – Maharashtra govt to pay Rs 5 lakhs to relatives of deceased, Rs 25,000 for injured

Mumbai, 29.June.19: Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis has taken serious note of the collapse of the building wall in Kondhwa, Pune due to rain and ordered the Pune District Collector to conduct a detailed inquiry of the incident. He declared aid of Rs 5 lakhs to relatives of deceased and Rs 25,000 for injured people.

 

While expressing condolences over the accident, the Chief Minister expressed grief for the families of the deceased and said that it was very unfortunate that the security wall collapsed on the huts of construction workers. The incident happened near about 1.30 am last night. Mr. Fadanvis paid homage to those who died in this accident and prayed to god for speedy recovery of the injured people.
