KPMG appoints Industry Stalwart Rajeev Dimri as Co-Head of Tax

08 Aug 2019, Pune : KPMG in India has appointed Rajeev Dimri as the Co-Head of Tax with effect from 01 August 2019. He will be based out of the firm’s Delhi office.

 

Rajeev is a reputed tax expert with over 30 years of professional services experience. He has extensively worked with multi-national and large domestic companies in setting up or rationalising business models and nationwide distribution structures. This includes cross border trade flows and setting up manufacturing operations in India. In the last 15 years, Rajeev has focused more on indirect and transaction taxes. He has been actively involved in various aspects of the introduction and evolution of GST in India, working with a wide range of stakeholders. Rajeev has held significant leadership roles across various firms; among his best known roles is that of a co-founder and one of the leaders of the tax practice of BMR Advisors. Rajeev has had particular focus in the auto, e-commerce and travel & hospitality sectors.

Rajeev is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University.
