‘Landscaping is important to create emotional connect with the home’ –  Dharmendra

2018: “I always dreamt of something blissful and in sync with nature for the piece of land I owned near Lonavala. For this, I had collected books on landscaping and had already prepared a picture having trees, benches, fountains and alike elements. My thought was such that every person visiting here should be emotionally intimidated by the place. Landscaping is important in having this emotional connect with the home and Mahesh Nampurkar turned it all into a reality for me,” affirmed Dharmendra, veteran Hindi Film actor on his recent visit to the city.

Dharmendra was in the city to inaugurate the new studio of Mahesh Nampurkar, renowned Landscape Designer who owns ‘Suman Shilp’ which works in landscape architecture and interior designing service. Also, Uma Nampurkar, interior designer and co-founder, Suman Shilp with Siddhesh Nampurkar were present on the occasion.

“I have been working and closely watching Mahesh’s work since last 2 decades. He has better understanding of human emotions which helps him in imagination and sketching and shaping it into beautiful landscapes,” said Dharmendra while expressing his appreciation.

Speaking on the occasion, Nampurkar said, “Dharmendraji looks very carefully around things in the surrounding. He has a special eye for landscaping and can very well visualize a beautiful looking picture of a place.
