Pune, 9th July 2026: Central Railway has issued a fresh operational update at 5:00 pm on Thursday regarding train services affected by landslides at multiple locations on the Lonavala–Karjat section. The latest update includes additional cancellations, diversions and rescheduling of trains.

The Pune–Solapur Express (Train No. 12169) and Solapur–Pune Express (Train No. 12170), both scheduled to depart on July 9, 2026, have been cancelled.

Central Railway has also diverted two long-distance trains due to the ongoing disruption. The Daund–Indore Express (Train No. 22943) will operate via Daund–Manmad–Jalgaon–Paldhi–Surat, while the Hadapsar–Jodhpur Express (Train No. 20496) will run via Pune–Daund Chord Line–Ankai–Manmad–Jalgaon–Paldhi.

In addition, both diverted trains have been rescheduled. The Daund–Indore Express will now depart at 4:40 pm instead of its scheduled 2:10 pm departure on July 9. The Hadapsar–Jodhpur Express has been rescheduled to depart at 11:15 pm instead of 7:15 pm on the same day.

The revised operational changes are part of the continuing adjustments to train services following landslides that disrupted rail traffic on the Lonavala–Karjat ghat section. Passengers travelling on the affected routes have been advised to verify the latest train status before commencing their journey.
