Last Day Of 3% Discount In Stamp Duty; Sub-Registrar Offices To Remain Open Till 9 PM Today

Pune, December 31, 2020: Considering the huge demand for document registry, the sub-registrar offices will remain open till 9 pm as it is the last day for document registration with discount in stamp duty.

To speed up the construction business, there is a three percent reduction in stamp duty for sale and purchase of property till December 31, and two percent from January 1 to March 31, 2021. The state government took this decision in August and started its implementation from September 1.

To get the benefit of this decision many people are rushing to the registration offices. The office was open even on Saturdays in the entire month of December. Considering the huge rush, today the sub-registrar offices will remain open till 9 pm.
