Latur District Magistrate asks for peoples participation in farm-lake programme 

Latur, Feb 3  – The District Magistrate of Latur, Pandurang Pole has asked for peoples participation in enhancement and effective implementation of Jalyukta Shivar scheme.

He was speaking in a function, where he launched the widening and deepening work of Gharani river at Hatakarvadi village in Nalegaon taluka of Latur district.

He said, the peoples participation is an important factor in farm lake programme. This initiative will help farmers in many ways. While the work under this scheme will also help to improve the level of under water level, he added.
