Local Holidays Announced for Pune District; Gauri Pujan on September 1
Pune, 1st September 2025: The Divisional Commissioner of Pune Division, Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar, has announced the list of local holidays for government and semi-government offices as well as schools in Pune district for the year 2025.
The order has been issued under the powers conferred by a Government Resolution of the General Administration Department dated March 14, 1983. Accordingly, employees and students in the district will get holidays on the occasions of Gauri Pujan, Ghatasthapana, and Narak Chaturdashi.
As per the notification, the holidays are as follows:
Gauri Pujan – Monday, September 1, 2025
Ghatasthapana – Monday, September 22, 2025
Narak Chaturdashi – Monday, October 20, 2025
