Lockdown: 21 students from Pune sent to Ahmednagar in ST bus

Pune, May 7, 2020: A State Transport (ST) bus carrying 21 students who were stranded in Pune departed for Ahmednagar from Swargate bus stand at 12.30 pm today. They had come here for preparation of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) competitive exams.

There are hundreds of MPSC aspirants students from other districts studying in different coaching classes in Pune. Now everyday buses will be sent to different districts. The students have to apply online covid19.mhpolice.in for getting necessary travel pass. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is providing buses after getting a list from the government.

All the students who left today had the travel permission from Pune District Collector and NOC from Ahmednagar District collector. They also have a medical certificate stating that they do not have any symptom of COVID19. They were called to the bus stand at 10 am and after necessary check-up, they boarded the bus.
