Pune, July 7, 2020: Due to rising Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases in Maan, the Gram Panchayat has called for complete shutdown from July 9 to 16. There will be a restriction on movement and fine of Rs 500 will be imposed if anybody is found roaming around. All shops except medical stores will be closed and milk sale will be allowed for one hour from 7 am to 8 am.
Meanwhile, many areas and buildings have been declared micro containment zones in Hinjawadi and neighbouring villages. In the last three days (including today), there were 27 positive cases in the areas around the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park including eight in Hinjawadi, six in Nerhe, three in Jambe, five in Maan and five in Marunji.
Due to several COVID cases, Maval-Mulshi Sub Divisional Officer Sandesh Shirke has declared micro containment zone in the following places:
Hinjawadi – Mukainagar; Tower 12, 20, B2 in Blue Ridge Township; Guna PG Laxmi Chowk
Maan – Sparklet in Megapolis
Kasarsai – Vitthal Mandir area
Male – Shende Patil Vasti
Bavdhan – B22, High Class Residency, Patilnagar
Pirangut – A, B Wing in Onkar Society; Plot no. 201 Townhouse k Biva; Niwasnagar society
Bavdhan Budruk – Karan Suncoast
Bavdhan – Jadhav vasti
Hadshi – Bodh Vasahat
Bhukum – Vairavnath Mandir area
Bhugaon – Karanjawane Ramnadi area; Sidhivinayak society Sanasnagar
Malegaon – Malegaon Gaothan area
In these micro containment zones, there will be restriction on movement of the residents.
