Loud Music: Pune Police Crack Down on Koregaon Park’s L7 Club & Lounge

Koregaon Park, 28th December 2025: Police have taken action against Hotel L7 in Koregaon Park’s Lane No. 7 for allegedly causing noise pollution by playing loud music. In the operation, police seized an expensive sound system from the hotel, officials said.

According to the police, loud music was being played at L7 Club & Lounge on Saturday in a manner that caused inconvenience to residents and the public. Acting on the information, a police team reached the spot and conducted an inspection. It was found that the hotel was using a high-decibel sound system without obtaining the necessary permission, leading to noise pollution.

Following the inspection, police initiated action against hotel manager Ravindra Madhukar Chaudhary (33), a resident of Wagholi, and hotel owner Dhiraj Bhaskar Jogdand (38) of Pimple Saudagar, Pune.

To immediately curb the noise pollution, police seized one mixer and one sound system worth approximately Rs 2.60 lakh in the presence of panch witnesses. Further legal action has been initiated against the accused under the relevant provisions of the prevailing law.
