Maharashtra 10th and 12th Board Results Expected by 15th May, Announces Education Minister Dada Bhuse

Pune, 18th January 2025: Maharashtra’s School Education Minister Dada Bhuse announced yesterday that the results for the 10th and 12th exams conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are expected to be released by 15th May 2025.

This year, the exams are scheduled to begin earlier than usual, with the 12th exams starting on 11th February and the 10th exams on 21st February. According to Bhuse, the early commencement aims to ensure that results are declared by mid-May.

The announcement was made during a review meeting with the State Board in Pune. Key attendees included Education Commissioner Sachindra Pratapsingh, State Board Chairman Sharad Gosavi, and Director of the State Council of Educational Research and Training Rahul Rekhavar. Bhuse addressed the media following the meeting.

Bhuse highlighted the need to boost student enrollment in schools managed by local self-governments, including district councils and municipal corporations. He called for collective efforts from teachers, parents, and elected officials to support the growth and sustainability of these schools.

As part of the state’s educational development plans, the minister announced initiatives to establish model schools in every taluka. He also discussed the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP), which includes introducing the CBSE curriculum in state schools starting from Class 1 in the academic year 2025-26.
