Maharashtra Begins B.Sc Nursing Admissions; Online Applications Open Until July 17
Pune, 14th July 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has initiated the admission process for B.Sc Nursing courses for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official portal until July 17 by submitting the required fees and uploading all necessary documents.
This year, over 47,000 students registered for the B.Sc Nursing CET held in April, with more than 43,000 candidates appearing for the exam. Although results were declared in May, the absence of an admission timetable had caused anxiety among aspirants and their families.
Admission Guidelines Released
With the schedule now live, the CET Cell has advised applicants to upload original, color-scanned copies of their documents online. Candidates must thoroughly read and follow the application instructions to avoid errors that could lead to rejection or cancellation of admission.
The CET Cell stated, “Applicants must verify all information before final submission. Incorrect or incomplete documentation may lead to disqualification.”
A total of 13,420 seats are available across 247 colleges offering the course, according to official data. Among these, 12 government colleges account for 900 seats, while the remaining 235 private colleges offer 12,520 seats.
The detailed schedule for subsequent rounds—document verification, merit list announcements, and seat allotments—will be published on the CET Cell’s official website shortly.
Candidates are urged to ensure the timely submission of all documents for verification, as any delays or omissions could affect their chances of securing admission.
