Maharashtra: Brahmpuri Sizzles At 40.1 Degree Celsius, Pune’s Temperature Also Increasing

Pune, 9th March 2021: The highest temperature in Maharashtra was recorded at Brahmpuri 40.1 degree Celsius in Chandrapur district while the lowest temperature was recorded at Nashik 14.7 degree Celsius. The entire state has been witnessing a slight rise in the temperature.

According to the India Meteorology Department (IMD), the temperature has considerably risen in various parts of Vidharbha while in Konkan, Goa and Central Maharashtra region there has been a slight rise in the temperature.

All districts from Vidarbha have seen a rise in the temperature with Chandrapur district recording 38.8 degree Celsius, Wardha at 39.4 degree Celsius, Akola 39.0 degree Celsius, Amravati recorded 38.4 degree Celsius temperature.

IMD has predicted rains at isolated places on March 11, 12 and 13 along with thunder and lightning. Meanwhile, Pune recorded 36.6 degree Celsius while a minimum of 15.3 degree Celsius.

Nashik: 35.5/15.5 degree Celsius

Nagpur: 38.3/20.5 degree Celsius

Aurangabad: 36.2/18.0 degree Celsius
