Maharashtra CET Exam Schedule Changed Due To JEE Examination

Pune, 19th September 2021: The National Board of Examinations (NTA) will conduct JEE Advanced examination on October 3. Therefore schedule of CET in the state has been changed. The State Entrance Examination Cell (CET Cell) has clarified that the CET examination which was to be held on October 3 will now be held on October 8.

 

The CET examinations, which are mandatory for admission to various courses under the jurisdiction of vocational and higher education, are being conducted by the CET Cell.

 

The CET for admission to five courses was to be held on October 3. However, the national level JEE Advanced exam for IIT, NIT admission will be held on the same day. Therefore, the State CET Cell has issued a circular stating that the CET will change the schedule of the day and the examination will be held on October 8.

 

The CET for Graduate Level Hotel Management and Catering Technology, B.Ed-M.Ed, Five Year Law Course, B.P.Ed will now be held on 8th October. The CET cell has mentioned in the circular that the practical examination of BPED will be held from October 9 to 12.
