Maharashtra: Coronavirus positive patients in state cross 4,00,000 mark

Mumbai, July 29, 2020: A total of 7478 patients were discharged and 9211 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 2591 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 298 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.61%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 4,00,651 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 2,39,755 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.61%. As of today, there are 1,46,129 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 59.84% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.61%. Currently, 8,88,623 people are in home quarantine and 40,777 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 20,16,234 laboratory samples, 4,00,777 have been tested positive (19.87%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,531,669 across the country. Out of this, 988,029 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 34,193 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 988,029 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
