Maharashtra COVID Report: 19,932 New Patients Discharged In Last 24 Hours

Mumbai, Sep 29, 2020: A total of 19,932 patients were discharged and 11,921 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 779 new cases were reported in Pune yesterday . Yesterday, 180 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 2.65%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 13,51,153 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.


According to the health department, 10,49,947 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 2.65%. As of yesterday, there are 2,65,033 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 77.71% while the fatality rate in the state is 2.65%.


Currently, 19,75,923 people are in home quarantine and 29,922 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 66,22,384 laboratory samples, 13,51,153 have been tested positive (20.40%) for COVID-19 until yesterday .



According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,145,291 across the country. Out of this, 5,101,397 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 96,318 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 947,576 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
