Maharashtra: Districts In Vidarbha Region Sizzles Under Sun, IMD Predicts Heat Wave

Pune, 1 April 2021: The Vidarbha region of Maharashtra is reeling under the scorching sun with almost all the major districts recording a temperature above 40 degree Celsius. Chandrapur district recorded the highest temperature at 43.3 degree Celsius while the lowest minimum was recorded at Pune at 14.3 degree Celsius.

A heat-wave has been predicted at isolated places in the Vidharbha region. Likewise, there has been a slight increase in the temperature in the Marathwada region while in Central Maharashtra there was a decrease in the temperature. IMD said that the weather will remain dry across the State along with Konkan and Goa region.

The state will have dry weather and clear skies till April 6.
