Maharashtra: MPSC Prelim Exams For Subordinate Services On September 4

Mumbai, 3rd August 2021: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination scheduled for April 11, 2021, was postponed by the state government on April 9. MPSC has decided to conduct this examination on September 4, 2021.

 

The commission has issued a circular informing the candidates about this. The state government had sent a letter to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission on August 3, informing them of their views. The circular said that given the measures being taken by the government from time to time about the outbreak of the Coronavirus, the Commission will conduct a periodic review in connection with the conduct of the examination. Information about this will also be published on the Commission’s website.

 

Maharashtra Subordinate Service Non-Gazetted Group B Pre-Examination will be held on Saturday 4th September 2021.

 

The state government decided to close schools and colleges due to the situation created in the time of Covid-19. Also, various examinations conducted by MPSC have been postponed. However, students who are constantly being pushed are frustrated. There was uneasiness among the students as the dates of the exams were not announced.

 

The state education department has clarified that the scholarship examination for class V and VIII students will be held on August 9 and the CET for class XI will be held on August 21. Therefore, there was a demand from the candidates that the MPSC should also announce the dates of the examination.

 

The examination was conducted by MPSC in 2019. After that, the exam to be held in 2020 was postponed six times. 3 lakh 82 thousand students from all over the state have applied for this exam and all the students are waiting.
