Maharashtra: Postal Department Recruitment For 1371 Posts, Apply Online

Pune, October 10, 2020: On the occasion of World Post Day and Indian Postal Week, the Indian Postal Department has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1371 posts in Maharashtra Postal Circle.

Of the 1371 vacancies in the Maharashtra Postal Circle, the maximum number of 1029 posts are of postmen, its 327 posts are of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and 15 posts are of Mail guards.

The notification for the recruitment of 1371 posts in Maharashtra Postal Circle was issued on 29 September and the process of online application was to start from 5 October. However, the Maharashtra Postal Circle informed through another notice on 7th October that the process of online application for the recruitment of 1371 posts will begin on 12 October from 10 am.

Eligibility criteria

For Postman and Mail guard –

· 12th pass from a recognized board.

· Computer working knowledge.

· Age limit 18 years to 27 years on 3 November 2020.

For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts –

· 10th pass from a recognized board.

· Computer working knowledge.

· Age limit 18 years to 27 years on 3 November 2020.

Salary

For Postmen and Mailguards –

· Pay Matrix Level 3 (Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100)
