Maharashtra Reports 832 Deaths, Highest-Ever In A Single Day; 66,191 New COVID Cases Today
Mumbai, April 25, 2021: A total of 61,450 patients were discharged and 66,191 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 832 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.51%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 42,95,027 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 35,30,060 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.51%. As of today, there are 6,98,354 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 82.19% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.51%. Currently 42,36,825 people are in home quarantine and 29,966 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 2,57,49,543 laboratory samples 42,95,027 have been tested positive (16.68%) for COVID-19 until today.
