Maharashtra: Students Will Get Option For Online And Offline Examination – Uday Samant
Pune, January 19, 2021: Maharashtra State education minister Uday Samant Wednesday declared that students appearing for the various examinations will get the option to appear for exam both online and offline medium. Universities need to provide facilities for the students.
Earlier the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) had declared that the first year exams will be held online only. Now after the announcement made by the minister, Pune University will have to make preparations for offline exams as well.
“We have also given an order of inquiry about admission to VIT college and the decision of recruiting professors on vacant places will be taken soon. The rising corona cases are a serious issue and we have given the orders earlier that the decision of reopening the colleges will depend on the vice-chancellor and district collectors of the concerned district. Therefore the decision will be taken by them”, he added.
