Pune, 7th April 2023: Due to technical issues, some students were unable to clear the entrance exam which is mandatory for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses. Following the complaints of the students, an inquiry committee was set up by the state CET cell, which has decided to retake the MBA CET on 27th April, allowing students until 11th April to apply for the exam.

The State CET Cell conducted the CET for admission to MBA professional courses on 25th and 26th March through online mode across 191 centres in the state. However, some students were unable to give the CET on the first day due to technical issues with the servers. This led to outrage from students and parents regarding the planning of the state CET cell and demands a retake of the MBA CET.

After verifying all the complaints, the inquiry committee has decided to conduct the CET for MBA again. Students who couldn’t appear in the CET due to technical reasons have been given the opportunity to appear for the exam. The CET Cell clarified that the exam will be held on 27th April from 9.00 am to 11:30 am. The decision to retake the exam has brought relief to the students who were unable to appear in the exam due to technical difficulties.
