Maharashtrians Stranded Abroad Fill This Form Online for Returning to India

Mumbai, May 5, 2020: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today appealed Maharashtrians stranded abroad to fill the given form online. “If you are from Maharashtra & are stranded abroad, we request you to fill the form linked below. The State will pass this information & coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs to facilitate your return as soon as the restrictions are lifted”, Thackeray tweeted.

 

The state government has already started the process of allowing stranded people to travel people within Maharashtra or to other states. Similarly, people in other states can apply with the local district administration if they wish to come to Maharashtra.

 

A few days ago, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray requested the Center not to charge migrant workers for the ticket for the trains, considering their financial condition has deteriorated due to the Coronavirus outbreak lockdown.
