Pune, 03 October 2022: Mahatma Gandhi is an exemplary, inspirational life lesson for all of us. We should adopt their ideas & philosophy in our daily life, while using technology, said Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, an Indian computer scientist, IT leader and educationalist.
Dr. Vijay Bhatkar was awarded with 5th Gandhian Philosophy Award by Suryadatta Global Peace Research Foundation, in a program organized in Bansi-Ratna auditorium, Bavdhan campus of Suryadatta Group of Institutes on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Founder President & Chairman of Suryadatta Group of institutes Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Vice President of Suryadatta Group of Institutes Sushma Chordiya, Industrialist Ramdas Mane, Supriya Badave, Mind Power Trainer Dr. Datta Kohinkar, Sunil Parekh, Shantaram Jadhav, President of Shantidoot Pariwar & Retd. Inspector General of Police Dr. Vitthal Jadhav, Trishali Jadhav, Vidyatai Jadhav, Dr. Sagar Deshpande, Director of Suryadatta Prof. Akshit Kushal & many others were present on this occasion.
Previously this award has been presented to Bhanvarlal Jain, president of Jain Irrigation, Dr. Kumar Saptarshi, Gandhian Leader, Anna Hajare, renowned social activist & Dr. Satyavrutta Shastri, Gyanpeeth Award winner.
Dr. Vijay Bhatkar expressed his gratitude towards Mahatma Gandhi. He further said, I am very happy to receive the award in the name of Mahatma Gandhi. He is my idol & inspiration. He also told his journey of developing Param supercomputers.
Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya said that Dr. Vijay Bhatkar’s contribution to nation building is remarkable. His life is an inspiration to all of us. Like Gandhiji, his personality is simple living and high thinking. Dr. Bhatkar has contributed a lot in making India independent.
Suryadatta Group has been working on Gandhian thought for the last two decades. We are trying to inculcate these thoughts in our students and teachers, he added.
