Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector (FES) displays technologically superior Tractors & Farm Mechanization Solutions at Krushik- Live Demos & Agri Show
November 6, 2015, Baramati: Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, the market leader in the Indian tractor industry for the past 31 years, and part of the USD 16.9 billion Mahindra Group, is a part of the Krushik exhibition this year.
On display are the Mahindra range of Tractors and Farm Mechanization solutions which include the following:
Mahindra Arjun Novo (605DI-i, 4WD) – India’s only high power tractor (57 HP) that can be used for a variety of farming operations as it is based on a whole new platform with many technological advancements like 15F / 15R synchro shuttle transmission. Launched recently in September 2015, the NOVO 4WD is displayed for the first time in this exhibition. This new variant offers a heavy duty 4WD axle that distributes equal amount of power to all 4 wheels of the tractor which allows it to tackle all kinds of terrain and work on all soil types and conditions. This variant is particularly suited for wet cultivation and offers a supreme level of mechanization when used with agriculture implements like Tractor Mounted Combined Harvester, Gyrovator, Dozer, and Loader, Primary Tillage and Haulage applications
Mahindra 415DI (OBP) – Kheti ka Boss – Mahindra’s latest addition to the 40 HP segment with the highest torque in its category, optimized gear speeds, hydraulic lift capacity of 1500 kg, and best-in-class PTO HP.
Mahindra 245 Orchard – Another addition to the Mahindra family that comes equipped with a 24 HP powerful engine with 3.5ft (42 inches) outer to outer narrow rear track width that is best suited for agriculture, inter culture and haulage applications. Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector has also showcased the Swaraj brand of tractors and mechanization solutions.
These include recently launched Swaraj 960 FE that features a 3478 cc, three-cylinder engine which is the largest in the category and is fitted with a constant mesh gear box that offers additional power to farmers, especially for haulage and other heavy applications. On the other hand, the Swaraj 717 is an ideal option for those farmers who wish to own a tractor for interculture activities & other farming related applications as it is fitted with fuel efficient water cooled engine. It offers ADDC hydraulics to customers thus ensuring smooth operation and better performance with draft implements.
The other tractors from the Swaraj stable include, the 744FE, and the 724NT – Red.
