Man lost Rs 1.5 lakh watch during security check at Pune airport

Pune, February 28, 2020 : A 44-year-old man has lodged complaint with Pune city police alleging his Omega watch of Seamaster model worth Rs 1.5 lakh from the Pune International Airport.

The incident took place around 1.50 am on Thursday. Dinesh Singh, a resident of Nagar road, had returned to Pune from Dubai.

“I kept my valuables in plastic tray for checking in x ray machine and when I went to other side to collect, i found that the watch was not there”, Singh stated in his complaint.

The Vimantal police station has registered an FIR for offence under section 379 (theft) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against unidentified person.  Police sub inspector Gandhale is further investigating the case.
