Man Working At Army Headquarters Arrested For Spying For Pakistan

Jaipur, 8th October 2022: A case has come to the fore in Rajasthan where army-related information was leaked to Pakistan after being trapped in a honeytrap. Rajasthan Intelligence has arrested Ravi Prakash Meena, a resident of Sapotra, Karauli.

 

Umesh Mishra, Director General of Rajasthan CID Intelligence said that Meena worked as a class IV staff in the Army Headquarters (Sena Bhavan) in Delhi.

 

The accused was in touch with the female Pak agent through WhatsApp and Facebook for a long time.

 

According to Mishra, it came to the notice that Meena is in constant contact with Pakistani intelligence handlers through social media. He is working as MTS (Class IV Assistant) in Sena Bhawan Delhi. When the CID Intelligence team monitored his activities, it came to light that he was sharing all the important information with the Pakistani female agent through social media after getting trapped in the honeytrap and getting lured by the money.

 

When Ravi’s activities were found to be suspicious, joint inquiries were conducted by CID Intelligence, Military Intelligence, Intelligence Bureau (IB) and other intelligence agencies related to information. During the interrogation, it came to light that Ravi, after being recruited to the post of MTS (Class IV Assistant) in 2015, is working in Sena Bhawan, Delhi.
