Maratha Kranti Morcha alleges Mahavikas Aghadi of deceiving them

Pune, December 27, 2020: Mahavikas Aghadi government has deceived Marathas by not giving them reservation, alleged Maratha Kranti Morcha leaders in a press conference at Patrakar Bhavan on Saturday.

Uddhav Thackeray led government has decided to give the Economic Weaker Section (EWS) benefits to the Maratha Community rather than giving them an exclusive quota of SEBC. “Government cheated Marathas by giving EWS reservation when there was no demand for it at all”, said the leaders at the press conference.

However, the Maratha Kranti Morcha is upset with the decision of the state government and is strictly criticizing this move of the government. “We never demanded an EWS reservation. The government has successfully done the job of killing the SEBC reservation by giving us an EWS reservation. This is a very big deception of the Marathas by the Mahavikasaghadi government”, added the leaders of Marathi Kranti Morcha.

In this regard, the leaders also warned of a non-peaceful protest if their demands of reservation are not met.
