Marathi Film Celebrities Visit Pune Police Personnel At Checkpoints To Boost Their Morale

Pune, 9th May 2021: Marathi film celebrities are visiting and interacting with the police officers and constables at various check posts to express gratitude for their hard work during Coronavirus spread.

The celebrities are visiting various check posts every day, where they interact with on-duty police officers. This is creating a light atmosphere and encouraging the police officers.

Speaking about this, the DCP (Zone 3) Pournima Gaikwad said, “Currently the city is experiencing 2nd wave of Coronavirus pandemic. For enforcing the curfew and lockdown rules, the police officers are working day and night in three shifts. I observed that this was creating pressure on the police force. Therefore, we are inviting the celebrities living here to interact with the police personnel to boost their morale. It is helping to reduce the stress among the police officers and personnel.”
