Market Yard: About 50 Vehicles Damaged By Anti-Social Elements

Pune, January 28, 2021: About 50 vehicles parked on the side of the road in Ambedkar Nagar were damaged by a group of people in the Market Yard area. Pune city police have arrested four people in connection with the vandalism.

According to police, the residents of Ambedkar Nagar in the Market Yard area park their two-wheelers, handcarts, rickshaws, etc. on the side of the road. Around 10 pm on Wednesday, a group of ten to fifteen people arrived in the area with weapons and vandalized vehicles.

Upon learning about the incident, Market Yard police station officials reached the spot and managed to arrest four people. The people had swords in their hands and they created panic in the area.

Police have registered a case against the accused and further investigation is underway.
