MCC Opens Registrations for NEET UG Counselling Across India

New Delhi, 14th August 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 counselling, beginning today, 14th August 2024. This registration, open until 20th August, is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing courses in All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed universities, and central universities. The counselling will be conducted in four phases, with the first phase concluding on 31st August 2024.

MCC’s NEET UG counselling provides an essential pathway for students to secure seats in various medical and dental courses across India. The counselling process will consist of four rounds, with the first round starting today and the final round expected to conclude by the end of October. Registrations for the first round can be completed online at the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in, where candidates must also submit the required fees by the 20th of August.

The second round of counselling is scheduled to run from 5th September to 22nd September, followed by the third round from 26th September to 15th October. Finally, a mop-up round will be conducted from 16th October to 30th October to fill any remaining vacant seats.

To register, candidates must visit the MCC website, complete the registration form, pay the required fee, and finalize their seat choice filling and locking within the designated timeframe. The seat allotment process for the first round will take place between 21st and 22nd August, with results being announced on 23rd August 2024. Successful candidates will need to report to their allotted institutions between 24th and 29th August, with verification procedures concluding by 31st August 2024.
