Medical Examinations To Be Held From 10th June In Maharashtra

Pune, 19th May 2021: The examinations for medical students starting from June 2 will now be held from June 10 to 30, said Amit Deshmukh, Maharashtra Minister for Medical Education.
The decision was taken after a meeting today between the examination controller of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Dr Ajit Pathak and Mantralaya officials in Mumbai. These exams include MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH and B.Sc. The degree examinations in nursing include the first, second and third-year examinations.
Along with these medical degree examinations, it has been decided to conduct the Modern Mid Level Service Provider Course as well as Certificate Course in Pharmacology during this period.
Earlier, the state government had decided to postpone the medical education department exams on the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision was taken by Medical Education Minister Deshmukh after discussions with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Medical examinations, which started on April 19, were postponed till June.
