Mega Plogathon Drive Held On Theme ‘My Garbage My Responsibility’, ‘Clean Pune, Beautiful Pune’

Pune, 22nd October 2021: Plogathon Mega Drive was organized today to create hygiene awareness among the citizens who exercise in the morning and go out for walks. The event was organized to clean and beautify the area by collecting garbage.

The event was organized in collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation and My Earth Foundation. The march was held from Shastri Road to Patrakar Bhavan. At this time, the slogans of ‘My Garbage My Responsibility’, ‘Clean Pune, Beautiful Pune’ were announced.

Abhay Chhajed said that increasing urbanization has created many problems. If you want to keep your area and city clean, waste should be sorted and disposed of.

Sanjay More said that in order to keep the Pune city clean, every Punekar needs to take a share to clean the city. The initiative to create awareness among the people with the participation of the elite people of the city on behalf of the social organizations is commendable.

Anant Gharat of My Earth Foundation said that the program was organized to create awareness about waste in the city as well as in society through the plogathon.

Gharat said that he would work with the help of My Earth Foundation and other social organizations to make Pune city number one in the country in the future clean survey.
