Mercedes-Benz India introduces the GLE and GLS ‘Night Edition’

Pune, 21^st May 2026: India’s most desirable luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz today, announced the introduction of the GLE and GLS Night Editions, two exclusive and limited-series models that offer a distinctive visual character and curated interior appointments to the brand’s highest-selling luxury SUV range- the GLE & GLS-in India. Available in exclusive configurations not replicated on any standard variant, the ‘Night Editions’ are part of a global limited series and will be offered in limited volumes across markets, underscoring their exclusivity and collectors appeal.

The ‘Night Edition’ caters to the growing demand among Mercedes-Benz customers for personalisation and exclusivity in their vehicles. Both the models arrive with darkened exterior aesthetics anchored by two colour options: Obsidian Black and Alpine Grey. Alpine Grey is exclusive to the Night Edition series, giving customers a more exclusive and distinctive offering.

Inside, the Night Edition elevates the interiors with black Nappa leather upholstery and Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim appointments exclusive to this edition and absent from the standard variant configurations. A Head-Up Display comes standard across both models, while the GLE Night Edition receives AIRMATIC suspension as an additional refinement, further distinguishing its ride characteristics from the standard GLE.

GLE Night Edition:

The GLE has been a consistent performer in Mercedes-Benz India’s Core luxury SUV segment, with established customer loyalty across the country. The Night Edition builds on this foundation by introducing a sport-influenced exterior treatment centred on the black colour palette, complemented by the Night Edition-specific Alpine Grey option. The inclusion of AIRMATIC suspension on the GLE Night Edition adds an air-suspended ride quality that further separates this variant from the standard GLE offering. The GLE will also get a Head-Up Display across its variants.

GLS Night Edition:

The GLS is Mercedes-Benz India’s flagship luxury SUV and the highest-selling model in the top-end luxury SUV segment. The GLS Night Edition applies the same limited-edition design philosophy to this larger canvas. The black exterior character reads with greater visual authority at the GLS scale, and the Nappa leather and Anthracite open-pore oak wooden trim interior upgrades extend the cabin’s premium character.
