Mercedes-Benz ride for 40 toppers of Pune municipality schools

Pune : A total of 40 students from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) run schools and their parents will get a ride through the city in brand new Mercedes Benz cars on August 12. The students were selected on the basis of their marks.

The ride will start at BU Bhandari Showroom located on Mumbai-Bangalore Highway at 10 am. The event has been organized by Lifeschool Foundation under its ‘Keep Moving Movement’ initiative.

Naren Goidani, director of Lifeschool Foundation said that Meher Pudamjee, chairperson of Thermax Global will be present for the Sunday event. The top students from each 40 PMC schools were selected for this event, said Goidani.

As per the plan 40 students and their parents get a ride for about one hour in 40 Mercedes-Benz cars.

“Similar event was organiser in 2013 also. We wan to give the students different experience than the daily routine of studies,” said Navneet Mandhani.

The foundation has been conducting three month duration lectures in PMC schools for class IX and X students aimed at confidence building, inspirational, focusing and on life aims.
