MHADA Draw for 3,362 Flats in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and Other Districts to be Held Today

Pune, 29th January 2025: The Pune Housing and Area Development Board (MHADA) will conduct a draw for 3,362 flats across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), and the districts of Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli on Wednesday, January 29.

The Deputy Chief Minister and Housing Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, and Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar will oversee the online draw. The event will also be attended by MHADA Chairman Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing Department Valsa Nair Singh, and MHADA Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Jaiswal. The draw will be conducted through an audio-visual format, and applicants have been invited to attend the event at Sharad Chandra Pawar Hall in Pune Zilla Parishad.

Application Details and Process

The housing scheme, launched on October 10, 2024, initially included 6,420 flats. These comprised:

  • 2,758 flats under the first-come, first-served scheme
  • 28 flats under the MHADA scheme in Pandharpur
  • 3,569 flats under the MHADA 65% and 20% comprehensive scheme in Pimpri-Chinchwad

However, due to the Diwali festival and the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the deadline for applications was extended twice.

So far, MHADA has received 1,375 applications for the 2,758 first-come, first-served flats and 93,662 applications for the 3,362 flats available through the draw. Of these, 71,642 applicants have successfully paid the deposit and will be included in the final draw.

How to Watch the MHADA Draw Online

Applicants who cannot attend the event in person can watch the draw live on YouTube through the link sent to their registered mobile numbers via SMS.

MHADA has urged all applicants to stay updated and ensure they follow the necessary procedures for participation.
