MHT-CET Exam Flawed? 1,400 Objections Filed, 54 Questions Under Review
Mumbai, 15th June 2024: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) cell has been inundated with over 1,400 objections regarding questions posed in this year’s examination. The majority of these objections pertain to the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) sets.
A concerned parent of an engineering aspirant alleged that all options provided for a question in the chemistry section during the second shift on May 15 were incorrect. According to the parent, the question ID 812815 had none of the options matching the correct answer given in the CET cell’s answer key, which was 953136.
Responding to these concerns, a CET cell official informed that a thorough review of all objections had been conducted by a panel of subject matter experts. Out of the objections received, 54 questions have been acknowledged as valid and are currently under review for possible corrections or adjustments.
