Microsoft offers highest package in Campus recruitment at Walchand College of Engineering
Sangli, May 29, 2018: Microsoft has offered the highest package of Rs 37 lac per annum at this year’s campus recruitment at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. Total 75 companies participated in the campus recruitment this year out of which 16 companies have offered packages more than Rs.7 lac per annum & 52 companies offered packages more than 4 lac per annum. Average salary offered till date is Rs.5.07 lac per annum.
TCS, Infosys, IBM, Capgemini & Wipro were the mass recruiters of WCE graduates, while Microsoft, Direct I, BPCL, Symantec, Veritas, Hindustan Unilever, Barclays, EMC, Siemens, Eaton Corporation, John Deere, ThoughtWorks offered best salary packages.
Total 366 students have already been placed till date, of which 306 are undergraduate & 60 are postgraduate students. Around 212 students were placed among one of the most sought after companies. More students are expected to be placed in the coming days, while others have opted for higher studies. Besides, the institute has been able to provide internship during last semester to 107 undergraduate students and 93 post graduate students.
