Minister of State for Railways Shri Manoj Sinha Releases the Book on ‘Objective Railway Engineering’

The Minister of State for Railways Shri Manoj Sinha released a book “Objective Railway Engineering – Track, Works & Others” at a function at Rail Bhawan on 14th January, 2016. Member Engineering Railway Board Shri V.K. Gupta, Member Staff Railway Board Shri Pradeep Kumar, Other Senior Officials of Railway Board and author of the book Shri M.M. Agarwal were also present on the occasion.

This book is authored by a well known Civil Engineer, Shri M. M. Agarwal who served Indian Railways for 33 years and retired from the post of Chief Engineer. This is the 3rd revised and enlarged edition of the book, which was originally written in 2007. The book has since then been revised two times to include the latest technical developments in the track taking place on Railway around the world with special reference to Indian Railways.

‘Objective Railway Engineering- Track, Works & Others’ is a book designed for all professionals of Railway, whether in the field or in the office. The 3rd revised and enlarged edition (2016) contains 37 updated chapters covering the entire spectrum of Railway Engineering.
