Monsoon Active Again In Maharashtra, Likely To Rain In Next Two Days In Pune
Pune, 25th July 2022: Monsoon has become active again in the state. Due to this, for the next four days, there will be light rain in Pune city and its surrounding. Also, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in the Ghat area of the district.
Reportedly, all the four dams of the district are 70 per cent full of the Khadakwasla project, which supplies water to the city of Pune. Last year too, there was almost the same amount of water. Pune city had cloudy weather all day on Sunday (July 24). 353 mm of rain has been recorded in Pune since June 1, which is 65.3 mm more than the average.
The Meteorological Department informed that the sky will be generally cloudy with light rain likely for the next two days. The possibility of heavy rain has been expressed at isolated places in the ghat area.
