Monsoon to reach Mumbai 8 June – IMD

Mumbai – Officials from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that Monsoon will reach Mumbai on June 8 as it has hit Kerala coast two days before scheduled date.

Monsoon is expected to hit Karnataka and Konkan coast soon.

Last year it was said that Monsoon will reach on June 12 but it had come on June 20. This year IMD officials believe that Monsoon will cover whole Maharashtra between June 8 and 10.

Since Tuesday many parts of Maharashtra have already witnessed rains.
